Ever since I saw the opening sequence of The Italian Job, with the Miura gliding through the mountains, I've wanted to drive this road. After my first European road trip last year, including a visit to the Lingotto in Turin, I decided that it had to included as the start of this years trip.
The weather getting down to Switzerland was awful and things weren't looking much better as we climbed the Swiss side of the pass. Driving, torrential rain, and speeds of 30-40 km/h. It wasn't much better at the top either.
Once we started the descent though things improved and, with Matt Munro in my ears, I settled into enjoying the drive. Here is the video I took which will hopefully tempt you
More videos of the various mountain passes I drove on as I get them processed.
