The torque produced by some Tesla models has meant that we've seen supercars such as the Lamborghini Aventador SV be beaten on the drag strip. This guy must've thought that a Tesla motor would be better than the V8 in his Audi S5, as he replaced the engine with the motor!
The owner bought a wrecked Tesla model and took the motor out of it. He had to slice the unit in half in order for it to fit under the bonnet of the Audi, and all 16 battery packs are stored in the boot and the back seats! The owner says the car isn't quite finished yet, and you can see it is rather rough around the edges in places.
Tesla motor swaps are becoming more common, and the owner stated that the swap wasn't that complicated, and the gear ratios from the Tesla made the Audi a bit more 'zippy'!
