Guy steals Ferrari, gets caught because no fuel money

Well this definitely doesn't happen everyday..

Police officers in San Rafael, California recently responded to a report of a man acting suspicious with a Ferrari 488 GTB at a gas station and what they heard was a bit strange... he was asking people for fuel money to fill up the Ferrari's tank because he had none.

Upon arriving to the scene, the police questioned this Ferrari owner and his odd behaviour who claimed that the Ferrari was indeed his and he recently picked it up from a two year service. What on earth requires a two year service!?

Alarm bells were raised and the police called a Ferrari representative who informed them that this was actually a stolen Ferrari from San Rafael's Ferrari service centre.

The story ended with the man not only being arrested for stolen property but also due to possession of a controlled substance, hence the amazing 2 year service.

Luckily the Ferrari 488 GTB is now returned to its rightful owner.
