Haas Lose Major Sponsor due to Mazepin
Jack & Jones decided to distance themselves from the team.
Jack & Jones, one of the main sponsors of the Haas Formula 1 team have decided not to renew their contract with the team following the appalling behaviour by new Haas F1 driver Nikita Mazepin back in December 2020. Jack & Jones made this announcement over Twitter on New Year's Eve.
The sponsor originally joined the team as part of a deal with former Haas driver Kevin Magnussen but now that he has departed from the team, the clothing brand decided to follow suit. It's a somewhat surprising move but one that will no doubt be welcomed by many in the F1 community, especially as the decision not to renew their contract with Haas is largely down to the actions - and lack of consequences thus far - by Nikita Mazepin.

There is no word yet on if Jack & Jones has been replaced by Haas but given their struggles to find sponsors in the past pre-Mazepin, it seems that they will be fighting an uphill battle on that front now. Only time will tell if this kind of pressure will lead to any action being taken on Mazepin's position within the team.
The truth matters here, no matter how inconvenient, and Mazepin should be held accountable.
