Happy 80th birthday, Neil Diamond!

Being diagnosed with Parkinson's disease in 2018, Neil Diamond doesn't really do live performances anymore. But thankfully he's given us many great songs over the years, some he sang himself, some he wrote for other singers and bands, including Glen Campbell and the Monkees. But since it's his birthday today I've chosen to present my favorite two of the songs that he sang. They are 'Let Me Take You In My Arms Again' (www.youtube.com/watch?v=8TpltoxcVKg) and 'Solitary Man' (www.youtube.com/watch?v=MTAzsMWSYIo).

  • I like both of these! I hadn't heard "Let Me..." before. I have heard "Solitary Man" (although I didn't realize that was the title). Good choices! Happy birthday to ol' Neil—he's made many toes tap over his career! 😊
