Happy Birthday, Bizarre Solutions! ♥
"Useful" "solutions" brought to a DriveTribe near you, since one year!
One of the few things that this fine motoring tribe and its leader (me) have in common is that they celebrate a birthday near one another. Being two days early, means that today is this tribe's birthday - which is something special!
This tribe came into life when I noticed that DriveTribe was still looking for pre-launch tribe leaders and I thought “yeah, what the hell, why not?” and applied. Four days later I got a mail which simply stated that I had been accepted as a leader!
I decided that I would share a funny story in which I’d “solve” a “problem.” Long-time readers will know that this can be almost anything from packing for a road trip to how to tell another motorist that their car is cool. Sometimes it was useful information but convoyed in a funny way.
If I'd say that all of the articles happened to me exactly this way, I'd be lying (sorry about that). I am just a half decent story teller inspired by real(-ish) problems. Thus, this tribe dances on the grey line between fiction and factual. A fact that I adore.
Exactly one year ago, a small e-mail with the code for pre-launch entry to DriveTribe ended up in my SPAM folder. This was not exactly the glorious beginning one could hope for but it hardly lessened my excitement and urge to try my hands on something new.
In all honesty, I had never dreamed that my tribe would take off at all. My goal was to have about 20 members by the end of 2016
Imagine my surprise when I opened it about a week later only to discover that I had not only reached the goal already, but also surpassed it by 900%

Even today I am surprised to have 600+ members, and I honestly don't know what to do with myself should I ever reach the magic 1k. And I am ever so grateful!
I must admit that the last year was a fun time. Yeah, there were a few moments of doubt and "what's the point" but those were usually over-shadowed by the response I got to my posts. Add to that the friends I made on here, and discovering other tribes.
Anyway, before I get too soppy here, I decided to dig out your most loved 5 posts - rated by bumps:
I hope you're also going to enjoy the following year. If you have a solution or a problem you'd like to share, don't be shy :)
