- ADIB's Turbo

Have you heard about ADIB’s ‘Turbo’?

It’s a digital ecosystem for auto-related needs.

Abu Dhabi Islamic Bank (ADIB), in collaboration with Drive Ninja, has launched a new digital ecosystem for auto-related needs. Dubbed simply as ‘Turbo’, it ropes in multiple partners serving the automotive industry in the region. Turbo offers solutions for buying and selling cars, takaful car insurance and car finance. Not just that, the portal is also helpful for those looking for car maintenance, accessories, traffic payments, car registration and export and import of cars.

With Turbo’s launch, ADIB has become the world’s first Islamic bank and the first bank in the region to foray into this line of business. To offer such a wide variety of solutions, the bank has partnered with multiple service providers. The list includes Al Masood Automobile, Al Ghandi, You Drive, Carasti, Yallacompare and Car 24.

Dive a little deeper, and the picture becomes much clearer about how Turbo can help those looking for a one-stop-shop solution. For instance, visitors can search cars listed by dealers. Another feature, as mentioned above, is that there’s a section to put a car or cars on sale. Besides those, Turbo also provides pre-owned car evaluation service, test drive booking, offer insurance or even apply for one with ADIB.

In phase one, the platform includes listings from thirty car brands with over 750 cars available to purchase. More features will be incorporated in a phased manner, such as tie-ups with more dealer partners and service providers. And yes, services such as traffic payments, car import and export, car registration and roadside assistance will come in too. The link: turbo.auto.

UAE’s car market is booming, with a recent market survey pointing at a double-digit growth since the last quarter. So, the timing of the platform’s introduction is spot-on. Also, ADIB wants to move beyond providing traditional banking services. It’s part of the bank’s strategy to invest in artificial intelligence and cloud-based technology solutions. Those links will help in designing and developing new integrated ecosystem platforms.
