Rear-wheel drive cars are known to bring more pleasure to their drivers. With a little skill, it is very easy to go sliding as the car is powerful enough. Once the car drifts, it's all a matter of habit.

To make the drift last, you have to carefully dose the throttle while playing rigorously with the steering. It sounds simple but at first, you can be surprised. That's what happened to that man in Auburn, California. On the program, a blue BMW M3, a bright sun and a rather clear road. Everything seemed perfect...

The motorist following the German coupé filmed the scene. The M3 driver, in a visible hurry, did not hesitate to press his throttle generously as soon as the front vehicle, a grey Ford Explorer, turned right. The car then rapidly accelerates and makes a left turn. This is followed by a magnificent oversteer that sends the BMW...into a chasm.

The scene, obviously spectacular, is worrying. Fortunately, the damage is minor and the airbags didn't even trigger! The driver escaped unharmed. As a reminder, the E92 BMW M3 is powered by a 4.0L V8 engine that develops a coquettish 414 hp.
