Like Waymo, London Heathrow Airport was seduced by the new Jaguar I-Pace. He has just ordered 200 copies, alongside the tourism company WeKnowGroup who will take care of their operation.

Starting in the summer of 2018, 50 I-Pace will integrate a service to transport passengers to and from the airport. The other 150 scheduled cars will land gradually in the next 12 months. WeKnowGroup will install an on-site charging station, "the largest in the UK," we say. The 200 I-Pace Jaguars will be the most supplied electric car fleet in the country. One model can provide up to 1000 daily trips.

"Today's agreement also extends our long and deep relationship with Jaguar, which allows us to proudly claim that we are managing the largest fleet of chauffeured Jaguar vehicles in the UK," said Peter Buchanan. , the boss of WeKnowGroup. Logically, the management of the airport has also expressed its satisfaction.

The first electric car of the brand, the Jaguar I-Pace is equipped with 90 kWh lithium-ion batteries with a range of 480 km, according to the WLTP cycle. The electric motor has two engines (one on each axle) distilling a total power of 400 hp and a torque of 696 Nm. Thus, despite a nice weight exceeding two tons, the I-Pace displays performance worthy of his blazon, with a 0 to 100 km / h in 4.8 seconds. The orders are already open; the base price is 78'380 euros in France.
