HeLLé NICE - LEGendary ladies of motorsport

Quite frankly, I'm all in favour of positive discrimination if it'll draw in a wider audience and unearth a gem or two. I've been focusing on just the fairer sex for a series of biographies of extraordinary racers for Petrolicious and have uncovered some amazing tales.

The first published was of a French beauty who went by the stage name of Helle Nice. She worked as a dancer in the clubs of Paris during the roaring '20s and counted Ettore Bugatti as a lover. The story of her racing career is wild and well worth knowing about. To read her full story follow this link... right... here ---> petrolicious.com/legendary-ladies-of-motorsport-helle-nice

  • Have a look at my friend Jean François Bouzanquet posts. He has written a book - which I believe is translated in English - about women drivers. Cool guy, you should meet him when back in Old Europe ;)
