Bean cars were built in England by A. Sons and Bean Ltd. The first Bean saw light of day in 1919, when the demand for artillery shells they produced during the first world war ceased, and the companmy looked for new markets.
Through the early parts of the 1920's models like this lovely 1923 Bean outsold Austin and Morris!
I had actually heard of Bean, but I think this is the first one I've ever seen.
