Well, that last one sure was a badass. Until a man slapped him for his stupidity.
I like to get a lot of distance between myself and unstable motorists. If someone is a twat, then I assume they are always a twat. There are a lot of very self-righteous road users about, I avoid them.
That's what most of these truckers should have done and everything would have been fine.

You are right, they were all caused by the cars. I'm not saying the trucks caused them. But the proper thing to do when someone cuts you off and leaves too little room is immediately start making that room.

This WAS a full sized GM pickup. This happened near where we used to live outside Atlanta. It was not the fault of the pickup driver, but the result of a chain reaction caused by trucks further ahead and a following semi that could not stop in time. It's a good illustration that even when your not being a jerk, these things could kill you in an instant if you get caught in front of one that can't stop in time.
So I guess those oversized pickups aren't safer after all.
getting squeezed between 2 40 ton trucks has that affect on pretty much anything... but if it'd been a hatchback, you probably wouldn't be able to read the badge on the side.
