5. Alfa Romeo Giulia qv

The Carabinieri police force have access to many sporty police cars including other Alfa Romeo models, but one of the highlights is the Giulia qv. The car uses a 2.9 L Twin-turbo V-6 that produces 505 horsepower and can do 0-60 mph in just 3.6 seconds. Alfa Romeo claims it can reach a top speed of 191 mph, which is enough to catch most cars. The Carabinieri also use a Lotus evora and a few other Italian cars like the Fiat 500.

4. Lamborghini Huracan

Italy's Polizia law enforcement receive a Lamborghini Huracan to add to their fleet. With a 5.2 L naturally aspirated V-10 that produces 602 horsepower and 413 lb ft of torque, this car should be up to its job. It uses a 7-speed dual clutch, shift paddle transmission and an AWD drivetrain that helps propel the car from 0-60 in just 2.8 seconds and the car has a top speed of 199 mph. The Huracan however was rarely used to chase down criminals though and was used to transport emergency organs and to shuttle blood to accident sites for people who desperately need it. Overall this is one of the coolest cop cars out there and one of the best known

3. Carbon Motors E7

If you played Need For Speed Hot Pursuit you probably remember this car for smashing your sports car into pieces while you were trying to win a race. In real life it was designed by a former police officer and a former Ford executive. The car was specifically designed for the police force and was never intended to become a civilian's car. The car used a BMW straight-six turbo diesel that was more efficient than most police cars on the road. It was RWD and has a six-speed automatic transmission. It had a claimed top speed of 155 mph and a 0-60 time of 6.5 seconds. The cars best characteristic was how strong the body and chassis of the car were. The car uses ballistic protection panels and had a 75 mph rear impact crash capability. Some of the equipment included an automatic license plate recognition scanner, remote start, reverse camera, head-up display, nightvison, integrated riffle mounts and a shotgun, weapon storage, heated seats, aerodynamic sirens and so much more. The engine produced 250 horsepower and 425 lb ft of torque.

2. Nissan Skyline R34 GT-R

The Japanese get many cool cars such as the Honda NSX, Nissan 370Z and Mazda RX-7, but one of them is the R34 GT-R. The car uses a 2.6 L twin-turbocharged straight-6 that produces 276 horsepower and 295 lb ft of torque. Mated to the engine is a 6-speed manual transmission that you shift yourself. It can accelerate from 0-60 mph in just 4.6 seconds, which is plenty fast. The car is still rumored to be chasing criminals to this day! and is probably one of the coolest cop cars out there!

1. Porsche 911 Carrera 991

The Australian Police force have gained access to a beautiful Porsche 911 Carrera. I know what your thinking. Dubai has a Bugatti Veyron, an Aston Martin 0ne-77 and so much more. However only some of their supercars ever patrol such as the SLS amg or the Lamborghini Aventador. Most of their cars in their fleet are just simply for publicity and for flexing. I feel that this Porsche 911 Carrera (that actually patrols) is coolest because it borderlines on craziness and realism. Plus I love the 991 generation Porsche. Yes I am biased, but please don't get to mad at me. Anyway, the Porsche uses a 3.4 L naturally aspirated flat-6 that produces 350 horsepower and 288 lb ft of torque an can do 0-60 mph in just 4.6 seconds and has a top speed of 179 mph.
