Set to make its official debut at the Shanghai Auto Show later on this month, images of the Cyberster have finally been shared!
The Cyberster is most probably MG’s most ambitious project in recent history. It’s a two-seater electric sports car which features 5G connectivity - it’s the car that promises to combine technology and driving pleasure in the best possible way.
With an estimated range of around 500 miles (800km), despite how it looks, it is surprisingly economical... but don’t let this fool you, MG has not compromised performance as the Cyberster will deliver a 0-62mph time of under three seconds.
The design is supposed to evoke that of the legendary MGB Roadster while giving the Cyberster a 21st century twist. For example, there are numerous LED strips across the car which really help to emphasise some of the character lines, making for a much bolder design.
Unfortunately, the Cyberster won’t be available to purchase anytime soon. Instead, MG plan to show-off the concept car in order to try and help bolster sales of their current plug-in models which are available in the UK: the MG ZS EV, MG5 EV and MG HS Plug-in.
The Cyberster will make its official debut at the Shanghai Motor Show (April 21-28) - MG plan to disclose the rest of the information concerning the car during this period.
