Here are the range of M performance parts for the new M3 and M4
It includes a swanky new exhaust
With the arrival of the 2021 BMW M3 and M4, it would be bonkers for BMW to not release some M Performance parts alongside them.
These M Performance parts seem to give the cars a sort of previous-gen M4 DTM feel which is by no means a bad thing. The first extra you will notice are the new quad-exhaust tips which have been displayed in a very unusual layout, a bit like the Lexus LFA.
These exhaust tips are made from titanium and coated in ceramic. These therefore produce an amazing sound straight from that turbo-charged engine, but if you like this sound can be silenced.
You can also opt for the M Performance sports suspension which was developed and tuned on various different racetracks and is also directly linked to motor racing. The coilover suspension can reduce the ride height of between five and twenty millimetres, with the recommended being around 10mm.
And to support this, the M Performance sports brake pads are an option too which guarantee shorter braking distances, better response characteristics and high thermal resistance.
There's also a hell of a lot of carbon fibre options for the new M3 and M4 as expected, with a huge wing being the most obvious. You can also get a carbon fibre front splitter and demonic looking rear diffuser. The carbon carries on into the interior too where the whole cabin can be filled with the stuff along with alcantara.
Now, the elephant in the room are those forged gold wheels which looks rather impressive on the M3 pictured. They are very similar to the ones you can opt for on the M2 CS which are great looking wheels too.
All in all, the new M Performance parts look very impressive on these cars, if you have the money to flaunt on them. If not, I am sure a regular M3 or M4 would suffice.
