Here is a perfect example on how dust is good

Two rare Ford Mustangs were found in a storage unit and were gathering dust for 17 Years. The dust on both the mustangs were so thick it preserved the paint and kept the paint in good condition. The two Ford Mustangs are now classic cars and belong to my favourite era of Mustangs - the late 60s - they are rare raven black 68' GT500 and a lime-gold 68' GT500 KR.

...as if they were stored in a time capsule...

To make the two vehicles road worthy - the fuel tanks were changed, got a new batteries, standard service, few small changes and a proper cleaning. The cars were in such good condition as if they were stored in a time capsule. After the cars were made road worthy, they found out everything works including the air conditioning.

Since having found them the Raven Black GT500 has already been sold privately - for an undisclosed six figure amount. The Lime Gold GT500 KR is up for sale on eBay and is already in six figures. But, the best part is the dust, the thing that annoys a lot of people, including me. The dust was so thick it worked like a preserver of paint - incredible. Here is the video by Classic Cars Sarasota which shows the find. During the video it does show both cars and the raven black GT500 is mistaken to be blue.
