Here is the entry-level Citroën C4!
Opened a few days ago, the configurator of the new Citroën C4 allows us to discover the prices of the French compact car and the look of the entry-level model, named Live. Although the car is much less attractive than the versions shown in the press photos, the overall presentation remains acceptable.
On the outside first, the attractive 18-inch wheels have been replaced by 16-inch hubcaps with a much more basic design. The LED headlights and fog lights with lacquered rim disappear. They're replaced by halogen headlights, which have also abandoned the V-shaped DRL signature.
The car also abandons a few aesthetic elements such as the chrome trim under the side windows, the door handles painted in body color and the pattern on the Airbumps. The cabin is fitted with a 5-inch black and white touch screen, but the decorative inserts on the top-of-the-range versions have been omitted.
In terms of equipment, the Citroën C4 Live features air conditioning, four electric windows, electric and defrosting mirrors and LED taillights. Under the bonnet, the 1.2-litre three-cylinder PureTech petrol delivers 100 PS. It is mated to a six-speed manual transmission. The starting price is €20,900 (£19,400/$24,800) in France.
