German tuning company TECHART have unveiled their new kit for the Porsche 718 Cayman. With a vast experience and expertise in modifying Porsches, TECHART have given the 718 Cayman a much needed power and styling upgrade.

The 718 Boxster is also covered in this new launch

Along with the new body kit which features new aggressive front bumpers, a rear wing and lightweight alloy wheels, the TECHART 718 has also received a significant bump in the horsepower and torque thanks to clever engine modifications. Now its 2.5 litre engine produces 400hp at 6500rpm and 480Nm of torque from 2800rpm. This helps the 718 to sprint to 100kmph from a standstill in 3.9 seconds as well as increases its top speed to 294kmph. To finish off the performance package, the TECHART kit comes with a new racing exhaust system which gives it a 'deep and powerful' sound. The racing exhaust system comprises of new titanium tail pipes with carbon fibre tips to give it that additional sporty feature.

TECHART have also focused on improving the daily usability by installing their new front axle nose-lifting system. Porsche does not provide a nose lift system on the 718 models so this new upgrade from TECHART should come in very useful! After installing this hydraulic lift system, the front spoiler of the 718 can be raised by 60mm with the help of a button. This additional ground clearance should come in very handy when tackling ramps and speed bumps.

TECHART are displaying a 718 Cayman S with this new kit at their stand in Hall 3 at the Essen Motor Show which takes place until December 10.
