Here’s a peek at the 2023 Ford Explorer
Before the SUV goes fully electric, the Explorer will have a facelift; images of which have just been leaked.
Ford is due to release an all-electric version of the popular Explorer in the near future. Before this however, the SUV will undergo a facelift for the Chinese market, with the potential for this to expand to other markets.
As reported by CarBuzz, the images above are of the new Explorer and were leaked by China’s Ministry of Industry and Information Technology. The most noticeable change is the new grille pattern which is styled almost like honeycomb. Additionally, this version of the Explorer features newly designed vents, headlights, and brakelights
Despite having a higher starting price - compared to the US - of roughly $44,000, the Explorer is an incredibly popular car in China meaning it would make perfect sense for Ford to give it a slight makeover. And, due to the Explorer’s popularity in the market, the US will most likely receive similar changes to the car.
