Here's Hammond!

Richard Hammond is a man of many suits and great taste - the only man who can carry off a combo of cowboy boots and green tweed. During the episode 'Happy Finish Christmas' on the first season of The Grant tour, Hammond is seen wearing something a bit different... and I swear I've seen that pattern before...

Haven't got it yet? Well, let me tell you then. It's from a cult classic film by Stanley Kubrick, staring the crazy Jack Nicholson. Yes, that is the same pattern as the carpet at the Overlook hotel from The Shining. Don't believe me?

Thank goodness the suit creators toned it down a bit, wearing a 1970s carpet isn't very sexy. The suit was made by Ted Baker, a very classy British luxury fashion brand. This suit and matching waistcoat was on a very high-end, limited edition run - only 70 pairs ever made, all tailored by hand. To make this even more exclusive, it was only sold at the Ted Baker Boutique in Dubai. Clearly, Hammond was shopping one day during filming and fell in love with it. I mean, look at the lining!

You would have to fall in love with it, seeing how much it costs. The jacket alone was £1,295 - ouch. Sadly, I can't find the price of the waistcoat, if anything goes about online prices on eBay tell me, that the waistcoat might have been roughly around the £700-800 mark.

You have to pay a high price for some of the best items on the planet, I know this... Don't get me started on my sunglasses collection. I once spent £450 on one pair of Moscots but I love them so much!

I also love this suit... shame they didn't make them for women...
