Here's what a GMA T.50s Roadster would look like

Should Gordon Murray make one of these?

Last week saw the arrival of Gordon Murray's latest creation; the GMA T.50s which is a more hardcore, track-focussed variant of the already spectacular T.50 which came out last year. While, this is set up for track-use, what would a Roadster variant look like?

Concept creator, Siim Pärn has had a go at transforming the T.50 into something you'd find cruising around Los Angeles and we love it. This example has been finished in bright yellow and gives us Aventador Roadster vibes.

The overall shape of the car has not been changed, making this roofless version look even more factory. Admittedly, you do lose the big scoop which would normally drape itself across the roof, but Pärn has retained a bit of it through his design.

Again, at the rear nothing has changed and we really like that about this render. Looking at it from the back, we get a strong sense that this would compete perfectly alongside the Lamborghini Veneno Roadster - but which would be better?

We suspect you wouldn't want a T.50s Roadster in the UK, but for our foreign readers, it may seem more appealing.

  • Utter rubbish. It’s a lightweight carbon monocoque cell, lobbing its roof off is daft. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

  • No because then it’ll just be bought by people like Justin Bieber

  • Let’s take a T.50 and ruin it so we can be seen cruising in it on Sunset Blvd. What a joke. Gordon Murray would be pissed. No doubt purveyors of tasteless crap like Mansory or West Coast Customs will try though.
