Here's what a modern-day Porsche 959 could look like

Have you ever wondered what a modern-day Porsche 959 from 1986 would look like? It's very difficult to work out how an 80s supercar would look in the year 2020 but this artist's impression gives us a pretty good idea as to how it would look.

As you can see and would expect, this design is based on the current generation of Porsche 911, the 992. Added to this new 911 is the iconic 959 rear wing which is unmistakably German. On top of that, a few lines have changed around the car and the front has been adapted to make it more modern.

    • You encapsulated it, right looks "reasonable", and THAT is the problem. When the 959 came out, it was nuts for a Porsche. Now, granted, Porsche has never warmed up to the 'madness' quotient like Lamborghini, but...

  • I've always loved the styling of the original 959. Used to have a Hotwheels 959, and even that small thing amazed me with its proportions
