Here’s what the BMW 4 Series Convertible Concept looks like!

Recently, BMW unveiled the all-new BMW 4 Series Convertible and I quite like it but then I saw the photos of the concept and it’s safe to say that I was blown away...

The new BMW 4 Series Convertible- it’s a bit of a controversial one. Some people like it but others don’t. I for one am quite fond of the new 4 Series Convertible but I know that a lot of people aren’t mainly due to its looks.

The weirdest thing about all of this is that I think the concept photos would actually please those that aren’t fond of the actual car.

The Concept has the same main design features so I think that it’s the actual proportions of the car that make it so dramatic!

With the new generation of BMW 4, the grilles are what’s holding the car back from doing much better but with the concept, it actually works! I think that this is because the car itself is also much larger which actually makes a the front fit quite well.

  • I’m a 4-series grill hater but I kind of like this concept and it’s grill. If the nose dropped a little sharper, there was taller lower air intake and smaller grill it would have been even better.

Now I’ve seen this and with the above tinkering it could have been brilliant, I hate what BMW ended up with on the newly released 4-series. Straight to Mercedes or Audi I think!

    • I agree with you- Beemer had the potential to make this great but the finished product was a tad... underwhelming

  • It actually looks decent but I’m not too keen on the soft top

    • I agree with you! I think that the soft top goes with the final product but it wouldn’t work with the concept.

  • Not sure how I feel about it.

    • That’s understandable, after all, the 4 is a very different series of cars...

  • Hate the grill. I know hate is a strong word, but I feel it’s too tall. Maybe an homage to the very early cars but it’s not there for me.
