Here's Why The Volvo V60 Cross Country Is The Perfect Volvo You Can Buy Today

It surprised the hell out of us.

Let's face it, we all like wagons. You may not think so, but we all do. As enthusiasts, a good wagon is likely preferred to an SUV or crossover any day of the week. Wagons handle better, they give you nearly as much utility (sometimes even more), and they look better.

This is especially true with our most recent review car, the 2021 Volvo V60 Cross Country.

This lifted wagon is fantastic. It's luxurious, it has excellent sedan-like road manners, and believe it or not it has more trunk cargo room than a comparable XC60 SUV from Volvo. All around, the V60 CC is a fantastic little wagon and it may just be the best Volvo you can buy right now.

  • Hm. I'm a sucker for a good wagon. Or a bad wagon. Alright, any damn wagon makes me happy!

  • I love the new V60, but the cladding really makes it look off. I understand why it has it, but the regular versions of their wagons look so much better without it.

    • I hate the cladding on all cars like this as well. But I've seen a few of these lowered and they look AWESOME with the cladding. Like an OEM widebody a bit. If they were color matched this might be the best looking Volvo made right now.

    • I'm not a big lowered fan but you're right, the lowered new volvo wagons look SO GOOD.

  • I would still buy an mdx over one of these, better Awh, more power, and the same if not better fuel mileage. For the same price range
