Hi everyone I’m new here and thought I’d share my little RS Turbo with you guys. Not many of these around anymore and for those of you that don’t know they were the rally cars Subaru used before the wrx. The share the same EJ20 turbo flat 4 we all love and most of the underpinnings are the same as a GC8. I’ve Had the car for over 11yrs with no problems at all. Do of the maintenance myself and it’s all been pretty easy so far. I swapped a EJ205 from a 98 GC8 from Japan Into it around 10yrs ago. It has a 3.5inch turbo back exhaust, front mount inter cooler with 3inch piping, blitz pod filter sitting right behind the drivers side fog light, makes cool dose noises, bigger in tank pump and injectors, haltech piggyback ecu, sard fuel pressure reg, water spray for the fmic, bc racing coilovers, whiteline swaybars front and rear (22m), whiteline strut brace, cheap 17s that came with the car running decent Goodyear’s all round.(Rota grids eventually) decent little sound system with a pioneer entertainment unit and a Sony 12inch sub. Bunch more stuff I can’t remember to list rn. Dyno’d a few years ago and got 217kw ATW on 14psi

Such a fun little car to drive. Keeps up with my GFs 2012 STi and golf R’s and such. Best handling car I’ve ever driven, much thanks to the bc coilovers and the whiteline swaybars. I’ll keep it forever and I will keep modifying it and making it faster and more fun to drive. Got plenty of time to work on it now as it isn’t my main car anymore. Anyway hope you guys like it and thanks for inviting me to this group .

  • What an immaculate looking ride. Thanks for sharing. It reminds me of my dad’s 1990 Legacy wagon.
