Hidden inside an old factory

Came across a treasure in an old Norwegian woollen mill.

Whilst out filming for one of my practical exams, I came across a beautiful 1929 Ford Model A hiding inside an old Norwegian woollen mill. It was previously used for all sorts of shipments, but is now mostly kept inside for visitors to see.

The factory was established in 1894, and produced yarn and fabrics sold in great parts of southern Norway until 1984. Just a few years later, the mill was reopened as a living museum. Back in the days the factory had about ninety employees, but now only twelve passionate souls work to maintain the old industrial craftsmanship.

In short: It's an incredibly interesting place, and I wanted to bring you along.

  • I guess the definition of a really great artist is one who takes something ugly and makes it beautiful.

    • Which is ugly, the factory or the model T? 😁

    • *Model A

I'm thinking more of old lumps of fluffy cotton.

  • Wow, awesome shots! I love how you make the colours stand out so well. It's like the room is filled with lots of evening summer sun...
