Hold up - The Audi e-tron GT is a real thing?

No longer a concept made of polystyrene, it's time for the real thing!

In 2018, alongside the newly revealed e-tron, which we now know as Audi's first electric SUV, the e-tron GT was shown. Thought to be a product of fantasy, we now know that this isn't true!

In fact, recent spy shots of this new electric Audi confirm it is indeed coming to market! Expected to be around the RS5 in terms of shape and performance, this new electric Audi could be the second mainstream electric sports car to come to market!

Audi Sport is responsible for development of this car, rather than Audi themselves, and it will be shown early next year! 590bhp, 0-60 in 3.5 seconds and over 250 miles of range. The car was originally due to be released in late 2020 but coronavirus has put delays on the table. What is more, Audi said this car is being developed in close collaboration with Porsche. (Essentially, this will be a cheaper and slower Taycan)

Except, there is a bit of a bombshell - or a disappointment - depending on the way you look at it. Because this concept quite definitely shows a second pair of door handles! We shall have to wait and see if there will be two variants or no two door!
