Holy grail of classic cars! 81 car barn find heads to auction

4w ago

Barn finds have been popping up all over the place lately, and the most recent one has been found in rural France.

And it's not just any old barn find, because this one happens to have 81 cars in it - and now they're all heading to auction! Most of the cars found are from the 1960s & '70s with a few dating back as far as the 1930s.

The cars range from Citroens and Peugeots to Alfa Romeos and Lancias, Audis and Cadillacs to Chryslers and Oldsmobiles.

The jackpot of the bunch is a 1968 Lamborghini Miura P400 complete with its original V12 engine - expected to fetch between $455,000 and $680,000 despite its rough condition and high mileage (77,886 km/48,396 miles).

But don't think that is the only gem because there is also a gorgeous Pre-A Porsche 356, a C3-generation 1981 Chevrolet Corvette and a 1964 Series-1 Jaguar E-Type. They will all be heading to auction on Sunday January 20th, at Interencheres which will take place in France.
