#BMW’s new M5 hasn’t even been launched in South Africa yet, and the manufacturer is already talking about a more potent version. The #BMWM5 Competition is expected to reach market towards the end of 2018, and will feature more power and significant changes to the dynamics of the car, to out power and outgun Mercedes-AMG’s E63 S. For reference, the ‘standard’ M5 produces 441kw and 750nm from its 4.4-litre twin-turbo V8, while the E63 S produces 450kw and 850nm from its 4.0-litre biturbo V8. BMW M’s engineering VP Dirk Hacker was recently quoted as saying, “For sure we will have a more powerful M5 coming. This model will not just be about power, it will be a complete upgrade of the M5. More sporty… More fast… And even better performing on the racetrack.” #StayTuned #TunedAutomotive #SomeShitAboutCars
