Honda Hornet Reverse Trike

This reverse trike project started life as Honda's humble Hornet commuter. It's safe to say there's been some significant modifications since then, most notably the addition of two big fat tyres at the front and one at the rear.

It was put together by French custom builders 'Bad Genetics' and the motor remains stock, with reinforced barnett clutch springs to deal with the thicker rear rubber.

The front end is a five arm double wishbone setup with centrally mounted single front shock.

The brakes are AP racing four-piston calipers and the wheels and tyres are from a Formula 3 car.

Below is a video of it having a short run. We think this project was done on a restricted budget and can't help but wonder what this setup would look like with lightweight parts and a turbocharged bike engine at its heart.
