The new Honda HR-V Sport is expected to arrive in the UK showrooms this April with a heavy price tag. Simply the base model with it's six-speed manual gearbox will cost at least 27,000GBP and the CVT version is expected to be found from 28,000GBP.
The HR-V's price tag is really close to the larger CR-V, which can be found from 25,000GBP in it's base S grade and the SE model starts from 27,000GBP.
However, this can be explained with all the goodies the HR-V Sport comes and it's slightly more powerful engine.
The HR-V Sport comes with 179hp, unlike the CR-V which is powered by 170hp. It can go from 0 to 100km/h in 7.8 seconds and maxes at 216km/h.
When it comes to design, the HR-V Sport has some sleek elements such as blacked-out accents, wheel arch moldings, special rear bumper design and smoked taillights help differentiate the Sport from the rest of the HR-V models. The interior features a new set of front seats, black and dark red part-leather upholstery and black roof lining.
