Honda previews e:concept SUV production model
The company's second stand-alone EV is set to be the first electric Honda to be sold in China.
I'm pretty sure all of you at this point have aneurysms from hearing about electric SUVs, but apparently they have become a popular automotive trend because Honda has recently unveiled the design of its latest EV project called the e:concept. The car is set to be released first in China, although it's unclear if it will also be released in other markets.
So far, only one image has been released, which shows that the futuristic design that deviates differently from the company's previous EVs, which includes the E hatchback and the electric version of the CR-V.
The E is Honda's latest electric car
Athough general specs and price of the e:concept are still unknown, the company has confirmed that the new model will come with features such as ew safety and assisted driving systems, omnidirectional ADAS, an AI assistant interface and smartphone mirroring, which means that the car will probably cost around the same amount as the new Skoda Enyaq iV.
In the meantime, Honda seems to have big plans for the European market, as it has recently announced plans to electrify all of its mainstream models - which includes Jazz, Civic and HR-V - and introduce 6 new electric cars by the end of 2022. Overall, big things are happening!
