Hong Kong Harbor: Eye of the Cyclone

- Hong Kong Harbor: Storm watch 1987. Nikon F2, 50mm f1.2 Nikkor lens, 35mm Kodachrome

I found this shot recently in my garage; it's 33 years old. I had an inexpensive scan done for test purposes - I have an archive of 1980 F1 photos that I want to digitize for the DriveTribe readers. My son says some of the shots of Mario Andretti and Emerson Fittipaldi on track are good. Can you imagine? My teenage son thinks something I did is 'good'! Oh, and he made this shot his screensaver. Will wonders never cease.

    • Shot this with my 'travel' camera at the time, a Nikon FM - likely still in a box in the garage, lol!

    • Now that I think of it, I was wrong to say I used the F2 in the original post. I never took that on trips back in the day - it was too expensive to take on holiday!
