A short update from Louisville, Kentucky and the 50th annual NSRA Nationals

1y ago

Traffic jams are usually no fun! I found myself in one today, while leaving the Kentucky Expo center in Louisville, KY, that was unlike anything I've ever experienced!

A NOTE ABOUT THE ABOVE VIDEO: It has no sound. The person on the vast Custom & Hot Rod Life staff that forgot our copyright free music has been terminated!

That's what happens when 15,000 Hot Rods, Street Rods, Customs, Resto-Mods and Muscle cars all try and leave the show for the day around the same time! This show is the main event for the NSRA (National Street Rod Association) every year. Since this one is the 50th, everyone knew it would be big, but this one will probably break records for attendance.

I'm hanging out with 15,000 cool cars. Gearheads by the tens of thousands. Spectators by the hundreds of thousands and basically every single aftermarket part supplier in the US! This show is turning out to be the largest one ever!

Updates as I can get them out!

Keep on Cruisin'!

"Chris Breeden is a Social Media content creator for Custom & Hot Rod Life on DRIVETRIBE, YouTube and Facebook. After spending 5 years in Southern California, a.k.a. Hot Rod Heaven, while serving as a jet engine mechanic in the United States Marine Corps, he moved back home to Tennessee with an even greater love for Hot Rodded Vintage Tin. Since then he has worked in retail sales and the transportation and logistics industry. In 2018, seeing a gap in Hot Rod and Custom Car coverage on DRIVETRIBE, Chris began advocating for their inclusion on the platform. During the summer months, he can be found all over the Tennessee region covering car shows, meets, and cruise-ins. During the winter months, he can be found in the garage working on his custom 1949 Ford two-door sedan and 1954 F100 truck."
