It's fair to say that Toyota didn't get the response they wanted from ardent Supra fans when the fifth-generation officially debuted a few weeks ago. Despite being off the market for 17 years, Toyota hoped fans would rekindle their love for the famed sports car, but instead, they received displeasure from Toyota Supra loyalists. While many bemoaned the fact that it apparently "looks nothing like a Supra", some lambasted Toyota "for not using their own engine", while many - who have clearly missed the boat regarding the evolution of engine design - ask "why doesn't it have a 2JZ". The reality is, despite the hate, the A90 GR Supra will undoubtedly be a future classic. It has all the hallmarks of the traditional Supra, with adequate power from its BMW-sourced motor 3.0-litre inline-six. But we wouldn't be human if we didn't ask "what if". And with that, one talented visual artist - Giulio Partisani - decided to take it upon himself and create what he believes the Mk5 Supra should have looked like.
