  • Best tyre available. For my track car I go with sticky tyres.. my audi will be getting michelin pilot cup 2s yes I can buy cheaper but I want good performance. Why ruin it with poor tyre choice?

    • So you know your tyres beforehand then? I've never really sat down and looked at the differences. Surely they vary so much, performance-wise, on each car that all the combinations haven't been tested etc?

    • I look at what I want from the tyre.. how others have rated them for my car etc. Previous car was mx5 and everyone raved about federal 595 rsr so I went with them. Cup 2 gets great reviews across the board so long as it's dry. Sadly there isn't a tyre...

  • It depends on the car if it cost £500 I would go cheap but if the car cost £1500 or more I would spend money.
