Quick observation in that when I drive different makes of cars I get different moods and wondered if you do as well, he is a summary of my findings;
BMW - These make me arrogant and I am not an arrogant person. Perhaps its the dark, sombre interior? perhaps its the orange dials. All I know is that I feel selfish and self reliant when I drive one.
Audi - I have not driven one recently, however, watching others drive them, lead me to suspect that they make you feel powerful and a bit of a person who regularly self pleasures themselves. They tend to cut you up, overtake you, slide the back out around bends etc.
Ford - You buy one and you immediately need to customise it. I bought a Fiesta and as its one of around 9 million in my town alone, I had to change the wheels so that friends and family would know it was me. I have never customised a car before, but did mine within weeks of ownership.
Mercedes - You initially like the build quality, the capability of it, then you feel dread for when the next electrical failure may happen and how much it will cost to repair it.
Alfa Romeo - These make you feel flamboyant, what with mad styling, Italian Momo leather seats and a throaty V6 engine, you feel like Don Johnson in Miami Vice. Pass me my white suit and the espadrilles.
So, am I alone here, perhaps being a little melodramatic? Let me know your thoughts in the comments below.
