The video below was filmed using a Flir T1K camera. This is a Honda S2000 lifted up onto jack stands so the rear of the car is in the air. The engine is revved while the rear hand-brake is applied to view the warming of the discs. Also fascinating to see the impacts wheels have on brake cooling.

This was really cool to watch. Thanks for sharing. Back in October, my cousin and I were going down to Maryland from NY, and before we got too far we discovered his rear driver side brake was sticking. It got so hot in only about 5-10 minutes of driving that the powder coat on the caliper flaked off.
