How much does it actually cost to own a Bugatti Veyron?

You will be shocked at some of these figures!

I have always wondered how much it would actually cost to run a Veyron. I have heard it is obviously a lot but how much exactly?

I remember watching a youtube video years ago about how it was $20,000 just for an oil change which I thought was outrageous, well now I am beginning to believe that!

A recent EPA certificate from 2014 as been released revealing how much some of the costs have been. Let's just say, if I was a Bugatti owner I would rather stick a pin under my toe nail and kick a door because some of these costs will hurt more...

Before I show you the report let me give you a taster of what is to come. If a Veyron owner wanted a new fuel tank that would cost them €17,904 but thats just the start, if you wanted it to be fitted by Bugatti professional mechanics then that will add an extra €20,000 resulting in a €37,904. To put that into perspective, thats about €5,000 more than a brand new BMW 3 Series...

Here is the report showing some ridiculous prices...

Despite these costs, I would assume that the average Bugatti owner will not be fazed by this as they are so incredibly wealthy already but it really puts into perspective how much money these people have...

  • I believe I read somewhere that VW loses money on each one. I guess they planned to make it up on parts!

    • With your logic that applies for pretty much every car over 200hp then. All you need is 100hp, basic materials and safety equipment = dacia.
