In this article I discuss some viral social media crazes.

"How to kiss a Volvo" is based off of the Kiki challenge. The challenge involves a person jumping out of their moving vehicle and dancing alongside their car to Drake's "In my feelings" as the car continues to slowly move forward.

Next enters, Jaylen Norwood. from Boynton beach, Florida. Jaylen decides to enter the contest but wants to add his own twist, but things go terribly wrong.
Jaylen says that getting hit by a car was the best thing that ever happened to him. His friends and family seem to think otherwise. Jaylen certainly has a lot of energy and looks good on camera but will this pay off in the future or should he go in another direction?

Social Media Crazy
Jaylen isn't alone. The crazier your video is, the more views you get. Is this the formula for a viral video? There are platforms which allow you to interact with your viewers as they pay you, such as YouTube's Superchat that allows live stream viewers, the ability to pay in order to highlight their message in the chat stream. The message then stands out from the crowd and remains pinned to the top of chat for up to 5 hours. This type of interactive entertainment is the wave of the future. Although, it is more popular in other countries, keep an eye out to see more of this in the states soon. The movie "Nerve" touched on the future of interactive live streaming.

Stop Making Stupid People Famous - The Movement
There is a movement, a group of people dedicated to "exposing the stupidity of some famous people"... (Isn't that in itself making stupid people famous?). They don't agree with the idea that people are becoming famous by participating in stupid acts. Not only is it showing a bad example to others, but it is also de-evolving our communities. If you search the Internet, you will find the rants, the t-shirts, the articles and much more.
