How would Clarkson feel about this restomod Mercedes 600 Pullman?

It has a 'modern' Maybach interior!

It is no secret that Jeremy Clarkson is a big fan of the Mercedes 600 Grosser. In fact he has one and it is very lovely. But what if you were to tell him, this 600 Pullman existed? This looks like every other one from the outside but just wait until you see the interior.

The standard Pullman was nice, sure but this one is very special. It has been fitted with a modern Maybach interior which truly updates this to the modern day. Some may say this is sacrilege, while others will froth at the mouth in awe.

As you can see, everything inside has been updated yet it still retains a strong sense of class and vintage quality. A lot of the components you see inside have actually been sourced from a Maybach limousine which is how you know this is legit. In fact this conversion was done by Mercedes Benz Classic back in 2007.

Some of my favourite features are the electrically adjustable heated and ventilated seats, front and rear automatic climate control, fridge along with champagne flutes, ambient lighting, large screen, Dolby Surround Sound System, Bluetooth, front and rear cameras. It pretty much has everything you could ever want. All you need are some friends to fill it with and you'd be off on a great road trip.

When this was first completed it was worth around £3,000,000 which is a staggering amount as Clarkson would say. However, now it is up for sale for around £2 million and has covered under 700 miles in its life. I don't know about you, but I want it. Click here to view it.

Should Clarkson 'cop' this?

  • I think it’s stunning. Wouldn’t necessarily want to own it but I’m sure Jeremy would happily potter around the farm in it. Think how many potatoes it could safely and comfortably carry!

  • He would say it’s now worth even more than $1BN, in fact, $1,000,000,000,000,000,000,000.
