Hyundai teases the facelifted i30 N
The Korean hot hatch will be updated soon
Introduced in 2016, the third-generation Hyundai i30 N recently received a mid-career facelift. The entire lineup has undergone a variety of styling and equipment enhancements. Almost the entire lineup because the i30 N has not yet been updated. It will soon make up for this delay.
Indeed, the Korean brand has announced the arrival of the facelift for the sporty version via a teaser composed of three images. If the vehicle is presented in the dark, no surprises are to be expected, as the i30 N will most likely adopt the same modifications as the standard models.
This will result in new headlights with a revised light signature. The daytime running lights migrate from the bumper to the headlights for more elegance. The bumper is more aggressive. The same goes for the rear section with a new bumper and larger exhaust pipes.
Under the bonnet, the biggest change is the adoption of an eight-speed automatic transmission inherited from the Veloster N. It will complement the mechanical offering alongside the six-speed manual gearbox. Status quo in terms of engines with two units developing 250 or 275 PS.
