I bought a heap of digital junk!

One of the cool things about watches is you don't have to be mega rich to have fun if you're a bit of a tinkerer. I've just bought around 350 grams of digital junk on eBay for an undisclosed sum (=less than a new G-Shock) and I reckon at least one of them will work. That's because one of them (the Soncor) works. As for the other eight watches, some of them are new old stock but they've probably been sitting in a warehouse somewhere so I'm not sure. Anyway, I will keep you posted with updates. Cheers!

  • You did a bad thing, I can't argue with that.

  • I have a Timex that I bought way back in Karachi airport. A quartz, with a white waffle face and a full - and very pretty light indigo - backlight. It doesn't work, or maybe it's just flat. And I'm never going to wear it, even if it could be made to work. But as a night light for my son - I think it'll be perfect :)

    • They look in very good condition, some batteries might fix most of them, just hope the ones inside havent leaked

      Anyway, nice new additions

    • yup. That's my major concern. I've already tried two batteries with the Kessel and the Citizen and they aren't working :O I'll try again or maybe seek help from an actual watch maker
