I decided to go for a drive today. I loaded a Cobb Stage 1 - 91 Octane Tune yesterday and wanted to take my Mustang out to “stretch her legs” and see if the tune was noticeable. It was a perfect day here in Phoenix, 75 degrees just slightly overcast. I headed northwest out of town past Lake Pleasant and found an unmapped little twisty road to have some fun on. My conclusion is that the Stage 1 tune was not a significant modification. Low end torque was slightly improved and shifting feels a bit more crisp. Hopefully, Stage 2 and 3 tunes will hold more promise as I continue to make hardware modifications to accompany them. All in all it was a great day. It felt good to get out and enjoy fresh air and acceleration. I got some pretty good pictures of Ruby too.
