Ewan McG and Charley B famously rode round the world on BMWs to make The Long Way Round. I craved similar adventure on my BMW but due to lockdown was restricted in my route. Plus my bike is 91 years old.
So I did my own Long Way Round... my yard.

That was an absolute joy. I'm so grateful for things like this, because I'm also working from home, in isolation, completely on my own (apart from the cat, and he's not, to be honest, a great conversationalist), and it's getting a bit tedious. Laughs are much appreciated. I'm tempted to do my own tribute now, but it'll be a road to nowhere in my case - I live in a top floor flat, so the best I can do is stick my exercise bike on the balcony!
