I need advice.

As my family is somewhat brilliant my mum has bought me my 1st car and the rest pitched in on my birthday to help cover insurance. The problem lies in the fact that I only have my provisional license as all instructors are booked solid for ages yet and I need to get on the road ASAP. Can anyone recommend insurance that fits me and allows me to be co driven by various relatives without being extorted by a talking dog or Harvey Keitel? Also, as the government website in the UK was apparently set up by the typewriter living ape who wrote Shakespeare I can't figure out if it's ok to not name all possible co drivers on the policy in the first place. Thanks in advance as I know many of your are or have been in a similar situation.

  • Just use the Zebra. I know it’s a thing in America but not sure about England but you can compare and find the cheapest insurance that works for you.

  • Interesting you say a talking dog or Harvey Kietel, because I find that Direct Line are the often the cheapest (they don’t insure everything though). Other than that I’d suggest looking at Compare the Market (they’re quite a good comparison site)

    • Thanks. I'm not great with insurance yet so I'll be shopping around for a while. Comparison sites are probably the best way to go, thanks.
