Ice Cube's custom Acura NSX is up for sale, but you definitely won't want it...

Wait, he's turned it into a convertible?

The original 1991 Acura NSX is a car many of us look to as being a living legend. It came in two flavours back in the 90s. You could either have the standard NSX or you could opt for the NSX-T which featured a Targa roof. This was great for those who like the sun, but if you are a rapper from the 90s, then you will want to go the extra mile.

This is exactly what the American gangsta rap artist, Ice Cube did to his. He cut the roof off it completely and didn't even do a good job of it. As you can see, the 'roof' which attaches on is not acceptable. You can see they tried to copy a Boxster Spyder, but instead ended up making a badly made tent.

It has such an awkward fit and the car doesn't even really look that good with the tent off it. It looks like KITT and an NSX had a love child, but then found out they were in fact related. It's nasty!

But anyway, if you do want this car then you can check it out over at Classic Cars of Sarasota where it is up for grabs for just under $40,000.

  • It reminds me of this πŸ˜‰ Looks like Jeremy, James, and Richard made it. πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚ I wonder how much water pours in if you drive it in the rain πŸ€”

  • That has nearly every strike against it. Horrible wheels, awkward convertible proportions, not a particularly good color for the NSX, and an automatic.

  • Also, an ode to Ice Cube:

"It was" NOT "a good day"

when he told the body shop to cut the roof off of that NSX.
