If Darth Vader drove a car...
This is a Pre-Transformation photo-shoot for this marvelous machine, so keep an eye out for a follow up article and review in the coming months!
"Farmboy" came to me with his brand new 992 4s seeking a bit of a photoshoot prior to putting it through a bit of a make-over. He spec'd his Porsche to his personal preferences and I have to say I am a huge fan! Not scared to be a bit different, this Dark Knight makes a bit of an impact upon initial inspection and when started up you get all sorts of funny feelings going on.
Like many cars I shoot, this one has a special connection to its owner, being more than just an object. The available options and tailorable items Porsche offer it's clientele are extensive! It really makes each car unique and gives the owner the chance to design the exact car they are after, making it a channel of expression.

Whilst talking to "Farmboy" to hear about how he chose the car, he gave me a bit of a back story. Working part-time at a farm during high school, he picked up the nickname "Farmboy" from his friends and colleagues. making the plunge in 2010 he decided to go into business for himself and poured his focus and effort into it. Now a self-made man and a long hard journey down the track, he is able to enjoy some fruits of his unwavering efforts. His love of cars was born in the JDM scene and when I asked why he went for the Porsche, he explained that although the car is highly technological, somehow Porsche manage to maintain that special "drivers experience". Growing up in the JDM world, Farmboy developed a love for the raw-feeling cars that gave you a connection to every part of it, feeling the suspension in each corner, pedal pressure and every bump or pebble on the road. Initially, when he was on the hunt for his purchase, he looked at the Audi R8, Lamborghini Aventador & some of the McLaren range but was disappointed with the feeling of disconnect whilst driving. The McLaren range was the exception to this issue but he decided the Porsche ticked a few more boxes for practicality (as it was going to be a daily drive) and was blown away with emotions experienced behind the wheel of the 4S.

I know you pay a lot for these cars, especially in Australia, but damn they are on another level! Looking at all the details whilst shooting this car, I was astounded with the thoroughness and all the considerations Porsche has put into designing these machines. The legend accompanying the 911 name is definitely lived up to in their modern cars, I won't go into too much detail here as I will leave it for the review article in the coming months (make sure to follow Patrick Jackson or myself for the follow up article) but I was solidly impressed with every aspect of this car visually. Please enjoy this galley, and keep an eye out...

This is his daily driver.
Darth Vader would have definitely driven the BMW X7 in black... With that bigass grill... Nothing against the 911 992..
That makes sense, and there is a resemblance
Oh yeah... So much so that BMW should have named it X Vader... And put it in production with that Vantablack
A toyota yaris in black to mirror his helmet
Not usually a fan of black cars, but that is beautiful. Like a GT3 Touring, seems a perfect balance of interesting yet subtle
I agree, classy not overdone
I think it would be a black DBS Superleggera or M8 competition
