I'm not the biggest Hublot fan out there but I love it when watch manufacturers just go mental with colours. If you like Hublot, or if you like bright colours, or if you just love any product with an "in-your-face" design, you might like this watch. It's called Big Bang Unico Red Magic and it's very, very red.

The Red Magic was announced a few years ago, introduced in the Spring of 2018 and apart from the being the reddest thing that ever redded, it is also a great demonstration of what Hublot can do. The braggadocious design hides a great chronograph made of one of the most intricate and yet simple material you can use, ceramic.

The top and bottom section of the oversized 45-mm case, and the bezel, are made from red ceramic, a world's first. And Hublot has actually patented the process that it used for making vividly coloured ceramics.

The Red Magic is powered by Hublot's in-house HUB1242 flyback, self-winding movement with a 72-hour power reserve. It is indeed a great movement for a great watch so at the end of the day, it really is up to you to decide whether the over-the-top design is a good thing or not.

Only 500 units have been built and suggested retail price is around $26,000.
