I'm saddened to hear that DT is about to shut down.
I've used the DT app a lot, mostly for spotting but also to read the awesome articles here!
This app is excellent I think.
Firstly it is very easy to see,upload,upvote spots. (Unlike Autogespot which doesn't allow you post pictures of a certain size etc..)
Secondly the community here is very supportive and knowledgeable.
I'm gald that the YT channel is still going to be around but now those amazing, talented writes don't have a place to write their awesome articles at.
I do understand however that running a web and an app is expensive, because this is what happened years ago to CarThrottle with their app.

Maybe DT should consider writers sending them via Email their articles and then they can make a YT video about it (?)
I think that it's a reasonable idea🤷🏻‍♂️
